Initiation Session

This 90-minute session is a one-time offering for new clients and serves as a welcoming entry point into somatic coaching and breathwork.

Think of it as an initiation into relating to yourself differently. An opportunity to begin building a more intimate relationship with the most important person in your life, you.


The session will start off with a breathwork practice that helps you connect with your body. We will then delve into a coaching container where we will address the areas of your life that you seek support in. To conclude this session together we will reflect on some of the take aways and next steps. The intention of this session is that you walk away in awe of the transformative potential of somatics, support, and clear mirroring.


What is Somatic Work

Somatic means of the body.

Our mind and body are a team, working together to keep us safe and healthy. But many of us have been led to believe that our brain is the "captain" because it handles rational thinking and analysis. This often makes us look "up" to our thoughts for answers instead of "down" into our body.

Somatic work takes a "bottom-up" approach. While our brain helps us understand things logically, our body holds a detailed database of all our felt experiences. These experiences often outweigh logic.

Neuroscience now confirms what many healing traditions have known all along: the body keeps the score. Unresolved emotions and experiences don’t just disappear; they live in our tissues, breath, and nervous system. Over time, they create patterns that can make us feel stuck or reactive.

Through somatic work, we learn how to listen to the body, regulate the nervous system, and integrate what’s been held inside. This allows us to feel more grounded, connected, and present — so that life begins to make sense from the inside out.
